The CPTU was established in April 2002 as a unit within the Implementation Monitoring and Evaluation Division of the Ministry of Planning. It is headed by a Director-General, who reports directly to the Secretary, IMED. The DG has a staff complement of Directors, Deputy Directors, Assistant Directors, Systems Analyst, Programmer and other support staff.


Digital Archive of CPTU

The Digital Archive of CPTU is an electronic repository of IEC/BCC materials produced and published by CPTU. The two main objectives of this Digital Archive are to ensure safe and secured storage of all its productions and publications in one location; and to make them electronically available to all communities and care providers.
These materials include posters, flip charts, leaflets, TV spots, Videos, newspaper advertisements and other IEC/BCC materials and their prototypes on various health issues; and covering a wide variety of health topics, including non-communicable diseases, immunization, safe motherhood, nutrition, diarrheal diseases, acute respiratory infections, accidents, hygiene, food safety, HIV, and violence against women, among others. They also need to be maintained reviewed and updated periodically for the benefit of the community and care provider.
